- an employment assessment
- a substitute for professional advice.
Certain tests may use names such as:
- IQ Test
- Anxiety Test

- Burnout Test
- Emotional Intelligence Test
Personality Test.
Such names describe the topic or intended purpose of the assessment and do not, by themselves, mean that the assessment is clinically validated, medically diagnostic, or professionally standardized.
Individual assessments may include additional disclaimers.
4. Assessment Results
Your assessment results are based on factors including:
- the answers you provide
- the scoring method used by the assessment
- the conditions under which you complete the assessment.
Results may be influenced by:
- concentration
- fatigue
- stress
- prior familiarity with similar tasks

- device performance
- browser performance
- display characteristics

- environmental distractions.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, scores shown by IQ Lab should not be interpreted as standardized population percentiles, clinical scores, professionally administered test scores, or official IQ measurements.
For example, a result such as:
82 / 100
generally represents an internal IQ Lab score and does not necessarily represent a standardized IQ score of 82.
We do not guarantee that results from IQ Lab will match results from other assessments.
5. Access to IQ Lab
Certain areas or features of the Service may require paid or otherwise authorized access.
Access may be established through:
- a purchase
- a personal access link
- an email link
- a valid session
- another entitlement mechanism supported by the Service.
You are responsible for maintaining control of:
- the email account associated with your purchase
- personal access links
- session credentials
- other access information.
You must not intentionally share personal access links or credentials with unauthorized users.
6. Persistent Access and Sessions
After your access has been successfully verified, IQ Lab may establish a persistent session or other authorized-access state on your browser or device.
This is intended to allow you to return to IQ Lab without opening your email access link every time.
You may need to restore access if you:
- use another browser
- use another device
- delete cookies or browser storage
- use private or incognito browsing
- allow an existing session to expire
- otherwise remove locally stored session information.
In such cases, you may be required to use your existing or replacement personal access link again.

7. Purchases and Payments
Paid access may be offered through IQ Lab or through third-party checkout, funnel, or payment providers, including:
- Stripe
- Web2Wave
Before completing a purchase, the applicable checkout should display the material commercial terms of the offer, which may include:
- price
- currency
- billing frequency
- trial terms, if any
- renewal terms
- features or access included
- applicable refund or cancellation information.
By completing a purchase, you authorize the applicable payment provider to process the payment according to the terms shown during checkout.
8. Billing Model
Different offers may use different billing models.
8.1 Recurring Subscriptions
Where an offer is presented as a recurring subscription, the subscription may automatically renew until cancelled.
Before purchase, the applicable checkout should show:
- subscription price
- billing interval
- introductory or trial period, if any
- renewal terms.
By starting a recurring subscription, you authorize recurring charges at the disclosed billing interval until cancellation.
8.2 One-Time Purchases
Where an offer is presented as a one-time purchase, you will be charged once for the access or digital content described during checkout.
A one-time purchase will not automatically renew unless recurring billing was clearly disclosed before purchase.
8.3 Checkout Terms Control the Specific Offer
The specific price and billing terms displayed during checkout apply to the particular purchase you make.
Nothing in these Terms converts a one-time offer into a subscription or a subscription into a one-time offer.
9. Cancellation
If your purchase includes recurring billing, you may cancel future renewals using the cancellation mechanism provided by the applicable payment provider or by contacting:
hi@tryiqtest.com
Cancellation generally prevents future recurring charges after the applicable current billing period.
Cancellation does not automatically create a right to a refund for charges already made unless:
- our applicable refund policy provides otherwise
- the checkout terms provide otherwise
- applicable law requires otherwise.
We recommend cancelling before the next scheduled billing date.
10. Refunds and Money-Back Policies
Refund eligibility is determined by:
- applicable consumer law
- the terms presented during checkout
- our applicable refund or money-back policy.
To request a refund, contact:
hi@tryiqtest.com
Please provide sufficient information for us to locate the relevant transaction, such as:

Nothing in these Terms excludes refund or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
11. EU and EEA Consumer Rights
If you are a consumer located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you may benefit from mandatory consumer protections under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or restrict rights that cannot legally be waived.
For digital services or digital content made available immediately after purchase, statutory withdrawal rights may be affected once performance begins where:
- applicable law permits this
- the required information has been provided
- the legally required consent or acknowledgment has been obtained.
Where applicable law grants stronger consumer rights, those rights prevail.
12. Personal Use License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use IQ Lab for your own lawful personal purposes.
No ownership rights in the Service or its content are transferred to you.

We may reasonably update:
- test questions
- scoring systems
- result descriptions
- assessment names
- user interfaces
- available features
- recommendation logic
- profile functionality
- other parts of the Service.
Because assessments may evolve, results obtained at different times may not always be directly comparable.
Where practical, previously saved results may continue to be shown using their original structure.
21. No Guarantee of Specific Results or Outcomes
We do not guarantee:
- any specific score
- any specific IQ result
- improvement in cognitive ability
- improvement in mental wellbeing
- improvement in employment or academic outcomes
- that your result will match another assessment
- that your results will predict future behavior or performance
- any particular personal, professional, educational, or financial outcome.
The Service is intended as a tool for information and personal insight.
22. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided:
"AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE."
We do not warrant that:

- mandatory consumer rights.
24. Wellbeing and Health-Related Assessments
Wellbeing-related tests, including assessments concerning:
- anxiety

If you have concerns about your physical or mental health, consider consulting an appropriately qualified professional.

- your unlawful use of the Service
- your material breach of these Terms
- your infringement of another person's rights through your use of the Service.
This obligation does not apply where prohibited by mandatory consumer law.
26. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary if:
- you materially violate these Terms
- you commit or attempt fraud
- you intentionally bypass payment or access controls
- you attack, disrupt, or abuse the Service
- your activity creates a material security risk
- continued access would violate applicable law.
Where required by law or reasonably appropriate, we will provide notice.
You may stop using the Service at any time.
For account or data-deletion requests, contact:
hi@tryiqtest.com
Termination does not eliminate rights or obligations that, by their nature, should survive termination.
27. Copyright and Intellectual Property Complaints
If you believe content available through IQ Lab infringes your copyright or other intellectual-property rights, contact:
hi@tryiqtest.com
Your notice should include, where applicable:
- your contact information
- identification of the protected work
- identification of the allegedly infringing material
- information sufficient to locate that material
- an explanation of the rights you claim
- any other information required under applicable law.
We may request additional information before taking action.
Knowingly false claims may expose the sender to liability under applicable law.
28. Third-Party Links
The Service may link to or redirect users to third-party websites or services, including:
- Web2Wave
- Stripe
- checkout pages
- payment processors
- email services
- external resources.
We do not control those third-party services.

Electronic communications may satisfy legal requirements that communications be provided in writing where permitted by applicable law.
30. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
When we update them, we will change the effective date shown at the top.
If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where reasonably appropriate or legally required.
Your continued use of the Service after revised Terms become effective may constitute acceptance where permitted by applicable law.
Where applicable law requires explicit consent to a change, we will request it.
31. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
If you are a consumer, any mandatory consumer protections available to you under applicable law remain unaffected where they cannot legally be excluded or waived.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive a consumer of mandatory protections available under the laws applicable to that consumer.

- a payment
- subscription billing

- a refund
- communications from us
- please contact us first at:

Your written notice should include, where applicable:
- your name
- the email associated with your purchase or access
- relevant transaction or order information
- a clear description of the issue
- the resolution you are requesting.
Please do not provide full card details or unnecessary sensitive information.
32.2 Opportunity to Resolve the Complaint
After receiving a sufficiently detailed written complaint, we will have a reasonable opportunity to review and attempt to resolve it.
Unless urgent action is reasonably necessary or applicable law provides otherwise, the parties should allow up to 30 days from our receipt of a complete written complaint to attempt an informal resolution before commencing court proceedings.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent interim or protective relief where reasonably necessary.

If your dispute concerns:
- a charge
- renewal

Nothing in these Terms prevents you from exercising lawful rights available through:
- your bank
- card issuer
- payment provider
- payment network
- applicable consumer-protection law.
We will not impose a contractual penalty solely because you exercise a lawful chargeback, payment-dispute, or consumer right.
However, where a payment is reversed, refunded, cancelled, or otherwise no longer valid, we may suspend or remove paid access associated with that payment, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
We may provide transaction, access, usage, purchase-consent, or other relevant records to payment processors, banks, card networks, or dispute-resolution providers where reasonably necessary to respond to a payment dispute.
32.4 Courts and Jurisdiction
Subject to mandatory consumer-protection law, disputes arising out of or relating to:
- these Terms
- the Service
- purchases
- access
- our relationship with you
- shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Republic of Cyprus.
Where applicable law gives a consumer a mandatory right to bring proceedings before the courts of their country or place of residence, nothing in these Terms limits that right.
Nothing in these Terms requires a consumer to waive any jurisdictional protections that cannot legally be waived.
32.5 Alternative Dispute Resolution
Where required by applicable law, you may be entitled to use an independent consumer alternative dispute resolution ("ADR") mechanism.
We will participate in or cooperate with an ADR procedure where legally required.
We may also voluntarily agree to ADR where we believe it may assist in resolving a particular dispute.
Information concerning an applicable ADR body may be provided where required by law or upon reasonable request.
32.6 No Mandatory Pre-Dispute Arbitration
These Terms do not require users to submit disputes to mandatory arbitration before a dispute arises.
After a dispute arises, you and we may voluntarily agree in writing to:
- mediation
- arbitration
- another alternative dispute-resolution process.
Any such agreement must be made separately and voluntarily.
32.7 Individual Circumstances
To the extent permitted by applicable law, disputes should be considered based on the facts and circumstances of the relevant user, purchase, and transaction.
Nothing in these Terms waives collective, representative, or procedural rights that applicable law does not permit consumers to waive.

- contacting a consumer-protection authority
- contacting a data-protection authority
- making a lawful complaint to a regulator
- reporting unlawful conduct
- exercising mandatory statutory rights.
32.9 Severability of Dispute Terms
If any provision of this Section 32 is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.
The invalid provision will be interpreted or modified only to the minimum extent necessary where permitted by law.

We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations in connection with:
- merger
- acquisition
- financing
- corporate restructuring
- sale of assets
- transfer of the Service
- subject to applicable law.
34. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective.
Where legally permitted, the invalid provision will be modified only to the minimum extent required to make it enforceable.
35. No Waiver
If we do not immediately enforce a right or provision of these Terms, that does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
36. Force Majeure
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for delay or failure to perform caused by events reasonably beyond our control, including:
- natural disasters
- war
- civil unrest
- government action

- cloud infrastructure failures
- payment-network outages
- third-party platform failures
- major cyber incidents
- other events beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing in this section removes mandatory consumer rights.
37. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with:
- our Privacy Policy
- applicable checkout terms
- applicable Refund or Money-Back Guarantee Policy
- additional terms expressly presented for a particular offer or feature
- constitute the agreement governing your use of IQ Lab.
